Guidelines for requesting sprites
- Keep it realistic- I’m working on these in my spare time (and through my own goodwill) so don’t request something stupid like “the entire cast of Bleach, please” (anyone asking for anything as generic as this will be ignored). Please limit your request to three or four sprites at most, and if you like my work, you can always come back and ask for more later.
- Be patient- once again this is my spare time so I can’t make these things instantaneously. I will try my best to get them done in a timely fashion, but this isn’t a business so I can’t hold to a particular deadline.
- As I am already working on Mai-HiME and SaiMono games, I cannot release any sprites for those series until my own games are done. I’m also disinclined to work on characters who have already been sprited by other accomplished people such as Sithjester.
- Any sprite posted on this page is free for use, but please credit Karura of Azure Flame if you use them in your game. If you wish to host these sprites somewhere else, you must provide a link back to here.
- If you are asking for a rare or obscure character, please provide an image I can work from. Also, if you want an alternate costume for a character, you must specify it or I’ll use their default costume.
We want to request some sprites please include naruto sprites if you have some. Thanks:)

That’s a pretty general request- I don’t mind doing Naruto (which someone else already requested), Sasuke, Sakura and maybe Kakashi for starters, but it would be a long-term project to do everyone in Naruto, and I have my own life to lead too (in other words, work on any other character would proceed very slowly, so I suggest you specify which characters you want first).

I am looking for the RPG Maker XP style sprites of the characters Cuz I wanna add em to my game xD ^^;
I’m curious, what do you use, and how do you make these sprites?
I draw them in GIMP, using the default RPG Maker sprites as a template. I don’t really want to get into the tedious details since I’m just a beginner who hacks away at it in her own fashion, unlike the accomplished people on various RMXP forums.

Kenneth: There are a ton of Sephiroth sprites out there already; it shouldn’t be too hard to find one (my RPG Maker bookmarks are in a bit of a mess so I’m afraid I can’t link a site offhand).

Kotarou: glad you liked the sprites; I have put together a quick re-coloured edit of the RPG Maker XP white cat and uploaded it- hopefully will be what you need.
Umm the cat isnt really like what I wanted but I’ll use that one too, but What I wnated was I should of made better details like a walking catgirl pic but instead of half human it just be a pure cat, I could use this cat edit and make it as a evolve from an event though ^^ Thanks for that but can you make a cat like that? Erm, so you mean a cat walking on its hind legs, like Puss in Boots from Shrek? Not sure if I can manage that but if you don’t mind waiting I’ll give it a try.
Yea like that just like the catgirl sprite on the default RMXP sprite or in other words just a normal sprite but just its a black cat with green eyes. An no I dont mind waiting. ^^ Take your time if need be. :)

your custom hair is nice, I personally just HATE making custom hair, the saber sprite is my fav.

James McGee: Sorry, I’m not really interested in making a sprite tutorial at the moment. There are probably better ways to do them than my methods anyway.
Chris: In RPG Maker, if you go to the resource manager (it’s below the database in the menu), you should see the option to import new resources into your game.
monkeydlu: Thanks for your kind words; I’m glad you like Saber because I did that one with a graphics tablet and I was pleased how it turned out.

Red hair Shana will be a quick edit of the one that’s up, so it will be done later. I picked winter uniform for them both for consistency, hope that’s okay.

Ichigo looks nice, but you should REALLY consider not using the gradients for hair, the cloths, well, its ok most of the time when you get lazy, I still don’t prefer it, the laziest I’ll go is use polyshine or something, but never gradients.
their useful and nice, but don’t do it for hair, I just think that looks pretty bad. Sorry for being a critic, it’s got a style to it, but it just dosn’t work right. maybe you could just add a little bit of a highlight around the head, like what you did with sakura.
on the other hand, I really love your hair, it’s difficult for me to make custom hair.
Er, I’ve only ever used the gradient function for Yojimbo. I paint using the fuzzy brush or dodge/burn to get the shadow or highlight to match the light source or reference image. And I don’t even know what polyshine is.
To be honest, I’ve never tried to be anything more than an amateur at this; I know my technique is not up to scratch compared to those of the RPG Maker gods, but I don’t frequent RMXP forums or play an active role in the community- I’m not trying to compete with the people who can do it properly. I’m just a beginner who made a sprite for a friend, put it up on this site and never really expected anyone to come here and ask for me to do any more.
Umm excuse me I cant see the 2 new bleach ones you just put up they keep loading blank. Umm I also want to place one more request for now, as same for the others no big rush so dont have to get it to me ASAP lol so do mine when ever you have free from others so do others before mine if you want ok the new one I like to request is Deedlit from Record of Lodoss war. For the bleach ones the Bankai and Hollow wont load if you want you can send to my email: shikigara@hotmail.com or what ever is fine. lol thank you. :)

Well, it’s been a while now, but still, don’t put yourself down at all. Your unbelievably good at spriting. It takes alot of skill to make hair like you do, your style is very unique, and your work really is an amazing contribution to the rmxp community.
