I can’t say I’d normally be excited enough about my birthday to make a blog post about it, but I wanted to show off this lovely picture that my loyal slave necromancer made for me, featuring the ‘royal wedding’ between President Aria and Mikoto.

Oh, and if anyone feels like buying me a present, how about some Wordpress credits so I can upgrade my image storage limit? I’ve used 48 out of 50MB so far, so the need is pressing (yes, I know I can just resort to imageshack, but it’s not the same, damn it!)

Yes, I know I’ve been promising more posts on Ginga Nagareboshi Gin for a while, but ASD have just retranslated episode 1 with better subtitles, which I feel will reduce what little hilarity I was able to squeeze from the series. In short, I wasn’t able to see a good way to parody the series, and I don’t have the energy to write about it in any other capacity, so I’m afraid it has to go.

Yes, it’s time for an off-topic post- this time to draw attention to a new series of pages on the sidebar entitled “Galaxycats”. At this point, you may be thinking “what the hell is that”, and indeed, it isn’t related to anime and manga, but rather an original sci-fi story I’ve been working on for a while. I won’t be referring to it in the main blog again, but I’ll be adding episodes on a semi-regular basis, and there’ll always be a link to them from here for anyone who’s interested.

Unfortunately, no sooner do I get a blog than my router decides to behave erratically, preventing me from getting online with my usual computer. It could just be the heat, or it could be time for a new router, either way it means posting will be a lot more sporadic for the next few days.

Yes, the unthinkable has happened, the apocalypse may even be nigh; no, Harukanaru Toki no Naka De hasn’t been fully subbed in English, nor has Bushilord finally arrived, but against all odds, I have finally created a blog. For the moment I’ll be using it to post anime-related rants and parodies, along with instalments of an original story I’m working on, and if I can be bothered, progress reports on my attempt to create a game with RPG Maker XP. Forgive me for the simplicity of the blogroll and about sections; since I am still at ‘wood’ blogger level, it will take some time for me to gain EXP and make them 1337, or at least acceptable. Anyway, thus ends the dull but obligatory introductory post, the more interesting stuff will appear shortly.
