		<description>Gatekeepers was on AXN and it was the anime that got me into anime. It was also the first anime I watched. Then after that Sakura Taisen aired. I was hooked. Then there was Cooking Master Boy and Shin Hakkenden (the ending theme, Kitto Onaji Hoshi no Naka de, was pretty hard to find on Kazaa), and Vandread (was my Haruhi Suzumiya back then), and then they started to repeat these shows.</description>

(What I do really enjoy about the shows is how they both are about capital M Modernity in Japan, with the first series being about the rush of optimism in modernity while the second is the hangover of post-modernity.)</description>
