The second season of the anime was a disappointment, but the manga is still as strong as ever. Petrushka and Alessandro are two fine characters, and while the story is centered around them in the last volumes, I'm glad that the other girls are not forgotten, and that they still receive development. I'm not a big manga reader, but Gunslinger Girl is one of the rare ones I follow. Looking forward to the next chapters/volumes. My thoughts exactly.
