If there was an award for “best episode cliffhanger(s)”, this anime is so going to win it. I was always left at the edge of my seat after each episode, really agonizing for people who had to wait a week to watch the next episode, but it was all worth the wait. Totally enjoyed the blogging / anime watching ride with this.

And despite how it didn’t end the way I want, I’d have to say it’s one of the best “eroge adaptations” (I don’t think this is an apt description for the show) / harem anime to date. PA Works is just PURE AWESOMENESS.

It’s lucky for you who could sit through many episodes or alot of in in a few sittings. For many of us who was watching as it was broadcasted, it was agonising waiting for the next episode.

True tears was a masterclass in a storytelling that was exhilarating and addictive. Regardless of what I think it’s strengths are, I’d imagine that this animé will be remembered for it’s presentation and for it’s chraracters.

I’m a Noe fan BTW.

I can’t really add anything to what you’ve said here – This is probably one of the most visually stunning and emotionally powerful anime series I’ve watched in a long, long time.

The only thing that’s running it close for best anime series of the year so far is Kure-nai, which ironically has a lot of the same traits – Great characterisations and excellent dialogue. I think True Tears is just edging it at the moment for its use of visuals though.

Strangely enough the anime shared only the name of game it was “derived” from and little else. It was memorable and a time when I eagerly awaited every new episode, that was the first time in a long time that I was possessed to do so.

It exceeded all expectation since it was first announced and mocked during the previews. Ultimately it ended on a melancholy note, my redoubtable Noe did cry what I dearly wish and hope to have been tears of happiness.

I am glad you were able to enjoy it even if you missed out on all the fun of speculation, and fog of love.
