Simoun is one of my favorite anime and I'd rate Manabi Straight just ahead of Denno Coil on my list of favorite 2007 anime. Also, much thanks for being one of approximately 2 bloggers that actually gave some praise to Oh! Edo Rocket. It's my top favorite for the year and on the shortlist for favorite of all time, and it really needs more love. I’d heartily second Omo about Simoun and Manabi. I laughed so hard so many times. I hear it´s official that Konata and Kagami are getting married as well :p atleast according to Megami which presented a most glorious poster of them. Kanon, since I watched the first take on Kanon as well I was prepared, most of the reason I watched it a second time was because of Kyoani. I've carried on to the bitter end with it, but have a real love/hate relationship with it in a sense - The whole 'memory loss' storyline and characters annoyed the Hell out of me, while the other (aguably 'more normal') love triangle side of the series kept me pretty well entertained. Anyhow, I shall now devote the rest of this post to fawning over Dennou Coil some more... It's genius without compare, and easily the best anime of 2007, although I have to say that Lucky Star gets the silver medal from me.
