I believe the distributor is a company named Fabulous Films, who were also supposed to be bringing Inuyasha to the UK (did they ever actually release that?).

Mai-Otome is a shiny pile of wrecked train, but these OVAs are akin to looters smashing up the wreckage with pickaxes.

Ah! The Mysterious Cities of Gold! Happy memories indeed, and if I can finally replace the eye-cancer avis on my hard drive with shiny new disks I shall be a very happy bunny indeed. MCoT has to be my example (we've all got one, haven't we?) of first watching and loving anime without knowing what anime was.

Any idea who the distributor is? I have been on at Contender for the last four years to pick up the series without much luck. It'll be a shame if a UK company doesn't have distribution over here, but it's enough that we finally have clean episodes to watch.

Mai Otome - More? Isn't that train wrecked already?
