Martin: It's up against some stiff competition, but even at this stage I'm beginning to consider Dennou Coil as a contender for the "best anime evar!!!11" award. I don't want to jinx it ten episodes before the end, but it truly is like the anime I always wanted.

David: Laid-back to me is Aria or YKK, Seirei is more comatose. There seems to be quite a few novels, though, so you may get your wish for more after this season.

K.J. O'Neil: Oh, so it was that type of punch...Tomoyo will be upset but a man's got to have his HARD GAY.

(in other news, I somehow managed to break the ability to comment by adding a search bar in the header...go me :\)

Tsubasa 167: I don't think that was ending the relationship, I think that was the "oh we are so totally gay but this is <strike>sparta</strike> SHONEN MANGA!" way of kissing and making up. He calls Kuro "Kuro-sama" again. I'm not sure how Fai finnally manning up and punching Kuro makes everything better... but if it ends the wangst-fest that's been going on I'm all for it.

It's quite hard to read such harsh words on a show that turns out to be one of my favorites, i.e. Moribito. Don't label it "dull". Wouldn't the word "laid-back" be more appropriate?^^ For me it is, after seeing all those actionpacked animes like Claymore and Gurren Lagann.

I don't want it to end at all, hehe.

Dennou Coil is the best series of the current season, hands-down. I thought it had suffered from Mid Series Filler Episode syndrome but after the episode featuring Denpa and the dinosaur, it gets back into gear and provides a whole slew of new details and excellent character-driven material. If this show doesn't get a licence and a DVD release, there's no justice in this world! There's even good evidence that it will continue to stay good for the forseeable future...a rare and wonderful thing.
