I don't want to jinx it ten episodes before the end, but it truly is like the anime I always wanted. David: Laid-back to me is Aria or YKK, Seirei is more comatose. There seems to be quite a few novels, though, so you may get your wish for more after this season. K.J. He calls Kuro "Kuro-sama" again. I'm not sure how Fai finnally manning up and punching Kuro makes everything better... but if it ends the wangst-fest that's been going on I'm all for it. I thought it had suffered from Mid Series Filler Episode syndrome but after the episode featuring Denpa and the dinosaur, it gets back into gear and provides a whole slew of new details and excellent character-driven material. If this show doesn't get a licence and a DVD release, there's no justice in this world! There's even good evidence that it will continue to stay good for the forseeable future...a rare and wonderful thing. Dennou Coil is the best series of the current season, hands-down.
