There’s a possibility…

The Chinese fansubbers would never stop because of licensing, and they haven’t. It’s entirely possible for me to watch the Chinese fansubs, translate them, and have another a proper fansub group put in the subtitles in the raws.

The thing is, my Chinese is very good, and the Chinese fansubbers are using mainland traditional Chinese while I’ve mostly learnt modern Chinese.

Also, translating from a translation is going to result in somethings thing being lost in translation. It might not be that bad though, since Chinese and Japanese are pretty close in the use of expressions.

I’m sure some subbing group is making plans to do it, considering the amount of love this show gets. Hell, I’d start one myself, if my Japanese were near good enough to comprehend the raws.

I usually get annoyed when people complain about stuff being licensed but this time I’m just as semi-pissed…I can watch the raws but I still need the subbed version for maximum enjoyment, and it will take a while for Geneon to even finish releasing season 1, let alone s2 *goes away to rant some more*

Am I the only one who’s semi-pissed because Geneon liscensed Saiunkoku Monogatari?

I mean, yeah, it’s nice that a good distribution company got their hands on it, but now the subs for the second season are going to stop completely because of the policies of the two fansub groups doing it. -_-
