If you don't mind to read the manga online, I can recommend some site that you can download them for free.... For instance, try mangatraders.com :P

PS: They are free and you only need to register and voila

It's one of my favorites in both anime and manga form. I just wish someone would take the title away from ADV Manga and re-release it. The connection one feels toward the characters is amazing. I think many are scared-off the series because they assume it's moeliloli. It's one of a handful of series I'm sad more people don't check out.

I thought the anime was fantastic but, like many viewers, was left with a "What happened next?" feeling. No doubt I'll pick the manga up too but chances are ADV will leave that adaptation incomplete at this rate. I wish I had more faith in them because the manga sounds right up my street. Either that or I'll have to brush up on my GCSE french!

Actually, the English version had the misfortune of being licensed by ADV and still isn't past volume 3...I had to acquire the next two volumes. I look forward to reading the rest, though.

Gunslinger Girl may be the only manga whose publication is more advanced in France than in other countries, as it has been published up to volume 7 here.

On another note, it is true that the manga also gives focus to side characters, but in volume 6 and 7, you will feel that the main characters become more and more the side ones.

Anyway, the last volumes are as good as the first ones, and I could never recommend this manga enough.

One of my favourite manga series and I've read more than 1500 manga books. My favourite character is Pinocchio... man poor guy. I wept at his tragic demise.

The magic about GGS is that despite it being serialised in a loli moe magazine, Dengeki Daioh, somehow you don't feel any moe or lust towards the females. That's a great feeling to have.
