I haven’t watched the first Kanon series but from what I understand, this series did indeed develope the characters way more…good, especially in Makoto’s case. I was finding it to be a really enjoyable show up to the last couple of episodes. After the build-up of the Ayu arc, the conclusion was disappointing and weak. The arc that helped sort out the cousins’ relationship was also decidedly weak. This turned it from a light and fluffy but fun show into a major disappointment…too bad, because the art was mag.

I saw some episodes from the old one but I prefer the remake mainly because of the artwork and also because I found the development of the other one more boring (specially on Mai’s arc, my favorite for that matter ^_^, that arc on the remake was a lot more intense that the other one.) Personally I loved Kanon and I’m already waiting for Clannad. XD

kanon 2002 had they same story plot but their charater drawing is sukky, thats y they have a remake 2006 kanon

I personally think Kanon is great. It’s one of my favorite from last year. Oh, this is Kanon 2006… but there was another Kanon which released back in 2002. Anyone saw that one before?
