I don’t know how much they’ll change in the anime adaptation of Kaze no shoujo Emily, but the book was not so “typical” as I thought it would be. The main character was luckily not the overused cheerful and jumpy type that spreads sunshine all around and brings light to everyone she meets *rolls eyes*, whereas the author’s former creation (Anne) was.

Kino no Tabi the Beautiful World Country of Illness -For You wow I didn’t know that there was going to be a second movie/special episode(Or whatever you want to consider the first OVA thing was). Deffinitely watching this~

Is it that time again? *sigh* I haven’t really looked into it yet, but these are some of the series that has caught my interest: Ookiku Furikabutte, Sola, Lovely Complex, Seirei no Moribito, Nagasarete Airantou, Over Drive, and Hayate the Combat Butler.

Started reading the Claymore manga, and i was suprised of the quality of it. If you’ve read Angel Densetsu, the artwork is similar (same mangaka i guess).
No yuri in it, but a lot of swords and body parts flying (in the manga anyway) and avoids (for the most part) most of the ’shounen’ trappings.

I can’t say there’s anything that leaps out at me there, but I’ll give Lucky Star a try, since it’s KyoAni, and probably Claymore since the plot looked as if it may be a little more interesting than most of stuff. Other than that I’ll probably wait till a few episodes of other things have been blogged somewhere, then maybe pick them up.

Heroic Age is a Space Tarzan story with Argonauts/Greek myth intertwined into a mecha story with aliens and barren planets. Doesn’t sound remotely generic to me, especially considering there’s HUGE hints that it’s may very well be a genocidal destruction drama.
