It's good to see that I wasn't the only one impressed with the quirky Pale coccoon, although Mushishi was the shining light of the past twelve months by far. After an impressive-ish opening episode though, Ray seemed to leave me a little cold...apart from the great op theme. Death Note also rocked hard but you're right about it coming across better on paper. Wow, I’d actually forgotten how much had gone on this year!
