		<description>The somewhat generic character designs are the only significant fault I can find in this series: even the comparatively &#039;weak&#039; episodes could stand up well against anything else on our screens right now. It looked amazing, the stories were imaginative and profound and every instalment left you deep in thought afterwards.

Mushishi is one of those rare cases where it deserves every bit of attention it gets, and manages to be effortlessly different from everything else in the process. A few years down the line I bet we&#039;ll be calling it a classic, and rightly so.</description>
